Kookai Concept Store

Architects Elenberg Fraser designed the The Kookai concept stores in the Queen Victoria Building and Castle Towers in the heart of Sydney’s retail precinct.

These stores were designed to use Barrisol to act as a cocoon. High, Barrisol ceilings and undulating walls wrap around the customers, defining the mood of the space while also forming the circulation paths to various clothing racks and changing rooms.

Natural muted colours provide a serene background to the colourful clothes which reflect off the high gloss curved Barrisol walls and ceiling (Beige Arum).
