Federation Square - Australia

This central Melbourne major project was designed by the collaboration of architects Lab + Bates Smart. The project combines seven different quadrilateral shapes to form an elaborate myriad of Barrisol panels to create the ceiling structure, constructed and installed by the Melbourne Barrisol design, construction and installation company Passfield.

Barrisol Lumiere features in the entire north atrium ceiling structure, covering the huge public space. The entire ceiling area is illuminated by natural light during the day and backlit at night to provide a soft uniform glow.

The BMW Edge Amphitheatre 3-dimensional crystalline ceiling structure utilizes Barrisol translucent Acoustic panels to provide light and a tuned acoustic environment for recital and concerto performances and improved speech intelligibility at national awards ceremonies.
